Hiiii,

My name is Denise and I am the owner and founder of Essential Beauty by Denise. I am licensed in New Mexico as an esthetician and makeup tattoo artist. I am a multi-certified permanent makeup and lash artist. I am also passionate about skin care and certified with Circadia.

My goal is to continually learn new techniques as I master the skills I have learned so far. I am detail oriented and committed to enhancing my craft every single appointment. I want to empower women and my clients to feel beautiful in their skin. My clients trust me with their skin and the relationships I have built with them is so important to me. With their support I have been voted Best Esthetician in Clovis 2021, 2022, & 2023.

A couple of fun quick facts about me:

1. My faith is my foundation.

2. My three beautiful boys are my world.

3. My intuition is almost always right, although I may not always listen to it.

4. I love traveling the world and experiencing new cultures and foods.

Sickness

Please reschedule your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition. If you arrive for your appointment with symptoms, you will be rescheduled and charged 50% of your appointment fee (so please if you are sick or not feeling well, let us know by calling or texting us ASAP, especially if it is within 24 hours of your appointment).

If you are experiencing the following symptoms, you MUST reschedule:

• Fever
  
• Chills
  
• Diarrhea
  
• Vomiting
  
• Runny Nose
  
• Sore Throat
  
• Cough
  
• You are currently taking an Antibiotic
  
• You have a skin infection, such as ring worm etc.
  
• You, or someone in your direct care, has a cold, sinus infection or the flu.
  
• You, or someone in your direct care, has been diagnosed with Influenza, covid-19 or any type of respiratory virus within the past 7 days.
  

Again, we understand the the onset of symptoms may not always have the best timing. Even if it is less then 24 hours notice, it is always best to let us know rather then coming in while sick or not showing up for the appointment. We reserve the right to waive the fee in such cases. Ultimately, we care about your health and want everyone to remain healthy and be able to relax and enjoy their service!

Permanent Makeup Ineligibility Policy

•Pregnant or breastfeeding

• Under 18 years of age

• Currently on Accutane

• Currently on Blood Thinners

• Currently on Tretinoin/Retinol (discontinue 1

week before appt)

• Have skin diseases

• Recent Botox/fillers (must wait 7-10 days prior

to appt at our shop to prevent migration)

• Have blood diseases such as HIV/AIDS

• Epileptic or experiences seizures

• Diabetic (Please seek a Doctor's note)

• Undergoing Chemotherapy or Radiation

• Have had permanent makeup service

elsewhere less than 4 weeks ago

• Peeling skin from the following but not

limited to: sunburn (cannot come with active

peeling skin, chemical peel (must wait 2

weeks), microdermabrasion (must wait 2

weeks), Microneedling (must wait 2 weeks),

laser removal for previous cosmetic tattoo

(must wait 4 weeks)

Sick Policy

If you, or someone in your immediate family becomes ill in the last 48 hours before your appointment, please reschedule your appointment. We work in very close proximity to people, and take every precaution to keep people safe and healthy. We understand that that colds and flu's don't have a timeline, and sometimes symptoms show up out of seemingly no where. Thank you in advance.

Lash Refund Policy

Refunds are not offered for lash services.

HOWEVER if you are experiencing EXTREME fallout within the first 3 days of your appointment, we will fill at no additional cost.

Lash Fill Policy

You must have at least 50% of lashes left from previous appointment to be considered a fill.

Booking Policy

A Non-Refundable Reservation fee and/or CC No. will be due at the time of booking to reserve your scheduled time.

Reschedule and Cancelation Policy

We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least one day before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancelation fee Reservation fee is transferable within the same month if you reschedule at least one day before the beginning of your appointment.

Late Policy

Please notify us as soon as possible if you're running behind schedule to we can accommodate you and our following clients as best we can. If running more than 15 minutes late you will lose your reservation fee (meaning it will not go towards the final price of your set).
